If in doubt and it is a serious incident Dial 999 ( or 112, the EU emergency number)
If the patient appears to have stopped breathing and/or has no pulse follow the Defibrilater instructions HERE
If the patient shows ANY sign of a stroke DON’T HESITATE, Dial 999. Minutes count! It may mean the difference between a slight impairment and life-changing brain damage.
I got out of my chair to go to bed and noticed that my right arm was numb. I IMMEDIATELY dialed 999. It saved my life.
I’m still weak on my right side but getting better every day. If I had taken two aspirins and gone to bed I probably would not have woken up!
