WING VILLAGE HALL DEFIBRILLATOR

The process for accessing the defibrillator is as follows:

Ring 999.   Do not delay

The operator will then give you the code for getting the defibrillator from the phone box near the Kings Arms on Top Street.

Take it to the patient.

Open the case and it will then begin to give you instructions.

Do not worry about using it incorrectly as it is fully automatic and will only work in appropriate circumstances. Joanne is looking for some refresher training in the autumn for life saving using a defibrillator.

The Old Methodist ( formerly Wesleyan) Chapel, Middle Street, Wing. If anyone has any information about, memories of, or old photos of the Chapel which they would be happy to share I should be very grateful. As the new owners of the Chapel we are interested in learning all we can about its history and previous appearance, inside and out, and any detail would be helpful. I can be contacted at Chapel Cottage, 16 Middle Street; on 01572 737689; or by e mailing me at wingchapelsw@ gmx.co.uk

Thank you ! Samantha Westermann.
