The Village Hall

Wing Village Hall is available for hire. It consists of two meeting rooms and a kitchen. The large hall has space for 90 people sitting (depending upon configuration) and it has a stage. The small hall is large enough for 12 people sitting. On Thursday morning the small room, which we refer to as “the dining room”, is used for a village coffee morning. There is a Post Office weekly on Tuesdays between 2pm and 4pm.

It is available for hire for £10.50/hour for residents and £12.50/hour for non-commercial non -residents. Please apply to the Booking Manager for commercial hiring prices.

Payment is by direct electronic bank transfer or cheque. Cash is not accepted except in exceptional circumstances and with prior arrangement. Our bank details are available from the Treasurer on cullens135@gmail.com

WiFi

The Village Hall is equipped with BT High Speed Internet with a typical download speed over 40 megabits/second. This speed enables video links with anywhere in the world. Let your kids in Australia join the party.

The Village Hall does NOT maintain a TV license so please do not access sites such iPlayer and other similar sites that might require a license.

Anyone with a BT Broadband account can access this for free. Others can buy access from bt.com.

Residents and hirers access it for free and get the password at the time of booking.

  1. Would it be possible to park at the village hall on Sunday, between 10and 4pm for a walk I’m arranging. Also, I don’t know whether you are still running afternoon teas? If so, we would like to attend.
