Village Hall Details

Wing Village Hall is available for hire. It consists of two meeting rooms and a kitchen. The large hall has space for 90 people sitting (depending upon configuration) and it has a stage. The small hall is large enough for 12 people sitting. On Thursday morning the small room, which we refer to as “the dining room”, is used for a village coffee morning. There is a Post Office weekly on Wednesdays between 9:30am and 1:pm.

The Hall is available for hire for £10.50/hour for residents and £12.50/hour for non-commercial non-residents. Please apply to the Booking Manager for commercial hiring prices.

Payment is by direct electronic bank transfer or cheque. Cash is not accepted except in exceptional circumstances and with prior arrangement. Our bank details are available from the Treasurer on wingvillagehallrutland@gmail.com

The Village Hall is equipped with High-Speed Internet with a typical download speed over 40 megabits/second. This speed enables video links with anywhere in the world. Let your kids in Australia join the party.

The Village Hall does NOT maintain a TV license so please do not access sites such as iPlayer and other similar sites that might require a license.

Hirers access the WiFi for free and get the password at the time of booking. For residents using the hall, the password is on the notice boards.
