Essentially this is a stylish, humorous and very entertaining portrayal of a style of music originally pioneered by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in 1930’s Paris. Performed by three talented musicians on acoustic guitar, violin and double bass.

Numbers include ‘it had to be you’, ‘honeysuckle rose’, ‘fascinating rhythm’, ‘lady be good’, ‘moonglow’, ‘misty’, ‘sweet Georgia Brown’ and many others.

Food Safety in Catering

We have one spare place on this course on Saturday 18th November 9:30 to 3:30 with a bread at midday.

If you are interested contact Nick Knight nickknight2@btinternet.com

This 1-day course has the following learning objectives

  • Firm grasp of the importance of food safety and knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved
  • Understanding of how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling)
  • Confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers

Food business operators must ensure that employees are supervised, instructed and trained in food hygiene matters in order to guarantee safe food to consumers.

This qualification demonstrates compliance with food safety law within licensed premises and is a ‘must have’ for anyone involved in food preparation and food service.

It is ideal for new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, employees handling low-risk or wrapped foods, front of house employees such as waiting or check out staff, and back of house employees such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff.

Level 2 focuses on food handling, preparation and cooking in various different settings. It looks at the systems, techniques and procedures involved in food safety, and gives an understanding of how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling). It gives learners the confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers.

Entry requirements
