There will be an opportunity for residents to find out more about the Wing Neighbourhood Plan. On SATURDAY 7 MAY , between 10 am and 1 pm, in WING VILLAGE HALL There will be display boards charting progress so far. Members of the NP steering group will also be available to answer questions.

Wing Jubilee Weekend – What’s On Thursday 2nd June
Bring a drink and picnic and join Wing in the marquee at the village hall to celebrate
the start of the Jubilee celebrations with some musical entertainment and the
Lighting of the Beacon – 8.30pm and Official Opening – 9.15pm

Saturday 4th June
Flower Festival in the Church – all weekend
Wing History Exhibition in the Church – all weekend
Cake Competition in Wing Village Hall – 10.00am
Wing Village History Talk and Slide Presentation in the Church, led by David Seviour – 11.00am
Village Arts and Crafts Display –Wing Village Hall – all weekend Teas in the village hall – 2.30pm – 5.00pm
A Guided Walk through Wing Village History from Wing Village Hall car park led by David Seviour –3pm – 4.30pm

Sunday 5th June
Street Party – Top Street from 12.30pm onwards.
Bring your own decorations and food/drink or enjoy food and drink available for purchase from the Kings Arms pub pop-ups
Children’s Activities taking place – throughout the afternoon
Cake Competition Winner is announced by Fiona Cairns – 3pm
