From Judith Oakley Wing Craft Group

Here is the Village Banner that will be paraded through Oakham on Sunday morning (June 29th). It has been designed and made by 4 of the Craft Group that meets on Wednesday mornings in the Village Hall. I am sure you will agree they have done a great job and to Thank them for doing it.
I was disappointed that I had very little response from villagers to be part of the parade. Ros and Carolyn from the Craft Group will be carrying the banner. Each village in the County has been invited to have 8 villagers (with banner) in the parade and to attend the service in the Church at the end of the walk. I will be very pleased if some of you would like to take part (any age!) to show how happy you are to live in Wing and the county.
