Wing Children’s Library

Dear Wing villagers and friends,

Do you have any favourite children’s books you no longer want that you would be happy to donate to an exciting new village project? We are planning to set up a children’s library in the church where families can access a range of good quality picture and reading books for all ages. Books can be borrowed free of charge and then swapped for a new book when read.

If you have any children’s books to donate, please message Sharon Milner (sharonrmilner@hotmail.co.uk or 07788105166 ) or Carolyn Comben (ccomben2@gmail.com or 07966193634) who will arrange for collection.

We hope to launch the library alongside the Scarecrow trail on 20-21 September 2025. We are off to a good start with Scarecrow entries but there’s room for a few more so please drop Carolyn a line if you would be interested in taking part. This year’s theme is ‘Out of this World!’

Many thanks

Sharon and Carolyn
