Clothes Collection For Rutland

Wing Village Hall

Wednesday 22nd January 10 – 12am

Thursday 23rd January 10 – 12am

Do you have nearly new or barely worn clothing of good quality that could be donated and sold for a really good local cause.

For Rutland holds a mega annual clothing sale in March each year and the proceeds go directly to help Rutland residents with independent, non-medical advice to people of all ages who are living with long-term health conditions such as cancer, strokes, dementia, multiple sclerosis, heart disease and mental illness..  https://www.forrutland.org.uk/about-us

The WI will be at Wing Village Hall on the above dates to collect your donations and will then take them to For Rutland in Oakham.

If you canโ€™t get to the village hall on those dates, drop me an email and I will arrange a collection date – daltoninwing@gmail.com

Thank you so much for your generosity

Carol Singing Around Wing

Carol singing last evening raised ยฃ231, a fantastic sum to be shared between the Air Ambulance and Mtunthama Orphanage in Malawi. Many thanks to all who generously donated, those who provided festive treats along the way, and those who turned out to sing on a rather chilly evening, proving that Rudolph does not have the monopoly on the Red Nose! Thanks also to Kate and James at The Kings Arms for the mulled wine and mince pies to revive the spirits! Merry Christmas!

Carol Singing Round Wing

Please come and join us this Thursday 19th December at 6pm when we will enjoy the traditional carol singing event round the village.

Everyone is welcome, no experience required just a bit of enthusiasm and festive spirit.

We will meet at the pub at 6pm and return back there for mulled wine and mince pies.

Please dress for the weather and bring a torch.

If you or anyone you know would like us to sing to them, please message me (Debs) on 07507597003 and we will do our best to bring some Christmas cheer.

Looking forward to seeing you all
