There is a special all ages service for Mothering Sunday tomorrow at 9.30am when everyone will be welcome to come and celebrate their Mum (parents and family too!) with a small posy to be presented to all the ladies.

Calligraphy session has to be postponed

‘I am really sorry that the Creative afternoon Thursday 8 March is postponed to a future date. Please check for a future date. Painting, origami, games and other crafts are available to try, or bring your own knitting, crochet, art etc.’
Barbara Steen
The funeral of Barbara Steen who died Friday 23rd Feb will be held on Friday 9th March at 2 o’clock in the chapel of St Anne’s and St John’s (behind Wilkinson’s) Oakham.
When the old school became the Village Hall Gloria Whight and Jill Yell started a Nursery in the Village Hall and appointed Barbara Steen to run it.
