It is great sadness we report the death of Cis. Boothby. ย Her funeral will be on 16 February.ย Funeral 11:00 Wing Church, afterwards at the village hall .
She was such a lovely lady and, in her prime, would help anyone. Always cheerful, and with a beautiful smile. She was also a great supporter of any fundraising events in the Village. Our thoughts must be with her son, Nick.
Cynthia is currently in Peterborough hospital. Her chest infection led to other complications that need hospital care to resolve. She will soon be home in better health and sorting us all out as usual ! It is easy to forget that she is 95!

Cynthia is in Manton Care Home for 2 weeks respite. She had been quite poorly over the Holiday period. But she is in ‘fine fettle’ now, laughing, joking and chatting. Apparently, Cynthia is entertaining her visitors and they can barely get a word in!
We are visiting our daughters in the USA this spring. Our home in Wing is protected with the latest in technology and regularly checked while we are away so we are not concerned about leaving it but we do have an imminent problem – our car. Our house does not have any parking space.
We are losing the parking space we had with our neighbour as their property is going to be sold so we are looking for someone with room for a car to be parked for up to 4 months.
We will pay for the space or give a donation to your favorite charity but we are leaving at the end of Feb. If you have, or know of someone has, such space please call 737761 0r email mycar@wingonline.com
