Fundraising via Tesco Blue Tokens Scheme for Rutland First
Rutland First is a continuation of the Resilient Rutland group (a hugely successful project providing support for schools), supporting the mental health of young people in Rutland. Currently, the focus is on providing 11 – 16 year olds an out of school provision. We are fortunate to be one of the current Tesco Stronger Starts nominations in the Oakham store so please pop a token or two in for us if you are shopping there to help support our newest project:
Whissendine Youth Group has recently opened to provide children from Year 6 through to Year 11 a safe, inclusive place to meet and enjoy different activities each week. This follows on from the hugely successful Uppingham Youth Space that provides a great service for the local community.
So please, if you are shopping at Tesco in Oakham, please put your tokens in the Rutland First box. Many thanks
Sharon Milner on behalf of Rutland First CIC

Just a quick reminder that there will be a Sunday Breakfast session in the village hall between 9AM and 11AM this Sunday with options (including veggie choices) from bacon or sausage baps through to the Full Winglish available.
Wing Village Hall is a valuable community facility in the centre of our village. It serves as a place to host village events and private parties and provides a useful meeting place for all members of the community.
The 100 Club is a means of supporting Wing Village Hall and helps to meet the substantial costs of running and maintaining the building. The hall is solely funded by the money raised from events, hall hire and the 100 Club. The generous contributions of club members last year brought in £1935. Prize draws take place monthly at the Village Hall Thursday Coffee Morning. There are eleven monthly draws with prizes of £25, £15, and £10 and a Christmas draw of £100, £50, and £25.
If you would like to support the Village Hall please join or renew your subscription (£15) either by:
