As advertised in the Benefice Magazine we would love you to join our litter pick on Sunday 20 March.  We will meet at the village hall at 10.30am – ideally come earlier where you can take advantage of breakfast which is being served from 8.30am for £5 – pick litter along the verges and hedgerows of our parish and end up back at the village hall for more homemade goodies courtesy of Judith Oakley.

We would also welcome volunteers to help tidy up the outside of the village hall ready for the spring and summer.

We are hoping to have an exhibition in the village hall of local art and craftwork. If you would like to have some of your work exhibited over the weekend of 2-5 June in the main hall, please get in touch with Sally Cox mrssallycox@hotmail.com. We are keen to attract a wide variety of work from painting, etching, other art mediums, quilting, pottery, woodwork etc… 

Wing Jubilee weekend will be marked with celebrations from Thursday 2 June until Sunday 5 June.

Thursday 2 June 

8.00 – 10.30pm beacon lighting, music and bring your own food and drink – Wing Village Hall.

Saturday 4 June 

10.00 am cake competition with judging at midday.

2.30 – 5.00 teas in the village hall

Sunday 5 June

12.30 onwards Street Party on Top Street.
