In 2022 help an older person or a person with a disability, to remain safer in their home.

Since 2019 Able Community Care, a Norfolk, nationwide, Live-in Care Provider, has been offering older people and people with a disability, a free door sticker to deter unwanted callers.

It is a fact that older and vulnerable people are targeted by fraudulent traders, workmen and fake โ€˜professionalโ€™ people such as conmen advising they are from the Water Board, Local Council, BT, Gas Board, NHS Covid Dept., etc.

As many people have told us, this sticker on a door does mean they walk back down the path.

To date we have given out nearly 80,000 door stickers and if you know of an older person who would like to have one, please email us at info@ablecommunitycare.com telling us how many you would like and the address to send them to.

We are happy for you to share this offer on your Facebook page or in your local magazine/newsletter.

Jubilee Exhibition

On behalf of all of those who have joined in the Wing Platinum Jubilee celebrations, I would like to say a Huge Thank you to all those who have made the events so enjoyable. Too many to name but these are some of the tasks – organising furniture from many sources; booking the band; beacon; table decorations (the Wednesday craft group); erecting and dismantling marquees; Flower Festival, Wing History; Art and Craft; Saturday teas; clearing up; Fiona for the wonderful cake competition. But there is one person who has spearheaded the whole Celebrations and made it so successful – Sally, we thank you wholeheartedly and do hope you are enjoying your well deserved holiday.

Thanks to those who have spent time taking down the marquees and decorations in Wing after working so hard putting it all together over the last week – a Job Well Done and appreciated by many.

If anyone has more photos they can send them to
