Diana Bremer-Goldie: 1925-2015. Long time Wing resident, Diana passed away peacefully at Greetham Nursing Home. Many family and friends gathered at Peterborough Crematorium and afterwards at The Old Forge, Wing to commemorate and celebrate her long and interesting life. She will be sadly missed.

Seniors Christmas Lunch
Plucking from the jaws of defeat the village hall committee have been able to recover from the loss of not only Jeanette but Jan, until now organisers of the Christmas bean feast Lunch.
If you would like to come and can prove your are senior then please give your name to Mary Rogers on 737475 or Paul Brewer at Thursday Coffee morning.
At this time the date SUNDAY 13 DECEMBER
has been booked and the time will be lunch time.
Don’t be bashful, come and show your face and enjoy not only good company but some excellent food.

The (Final) Final Vulcan Flight
A remarkable display season that took her to supporters across the country, including 3 appearances over Rutland Water, and a remarkable chapter in British aviation history, closed when XH558 touched down for the last time on Wednesday. It was a tense morning as rain lashed the hangar with the agreed take-off time fast approaching, but thanks to the flexibility of the airport, a later slot was provided and the final flight of one of the world’s most magnificent aircraft was given the green light.
