Spring Coffee Morning

for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

Coffee, bring and buy stall and raffle

And on Sunday 10^th April:

This coming Sunday (10th April) tea and cake will be served in the Village Hall from 3-5pm. 

All proceeds in aid of Church funds.

Do drop by for a cup of tea and a chat.

The next meeting of Wing WI will be held in the Village Hall Thursday, April 14th at 7pm.

Our speaker will be Fiona Cairns who will talk about her life with cakes.

As many of you will know Fiona supplies cakes to Waitrose and stores in London and a few years ago the cake for Prince William and Kate’s Wedding celebrations.

I am sure many villagers will be keen to come along and you will be most welcome. Fiona has written a few books and she will bring some to sell at £10 each, £5 of which will go to the Ukraine fund.

As we have to cover expenses there will be a charge of £5 which includes a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic punch and a cake or two.

P.S. Has anyone in Wing got a projector screen I could borrow for the evening, please?

Unfortunately, COVID has struck once again so that we need to postpone the concert by the Stamford Concert Singers scheduled for this Saturday 2 April in Wing Village Hall.  Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience.  We hope to confirm a new date in November shortly.

Please get in touch with Helen if you would like a refund for your tickets.  Alternatively, we are happy to carry them forward to the new date.
