VACANCY WING PARISH COUNCIL

As an election has not been called any person meeting the criteria to be a councillor can apply to be co-opted as a member of Wing Parish Council.

Please submit by letter your interest and reason for applying to the above address by Wednesday 9th September 2015.

Please see attached correspondence.

Wing Parish Councillors will consider all applications and make their decision prior to the next council meeting scheduled for 23rd September 2015.

Village Hall

The Flying Gates


Wing Village Hall is one of the refreshment stops for The Flying Gates cycling club on Saturday 5th September. The will be using the hall between 10am and noon.

They are all using cycles based on a 1936 design that was called a Flying Gate by the cycling press back in 1936 because of the unusual frame shape.

Community, Good Neighbours

The Birch Good Neighbours Scheme


There is to be a meeting of people, volunteers or potential users in the Village Hall at 7:30 pm on Thursday  10th of September.

The aim is to discuss and set out the directions of the scheme. The constitution will be presented at the meeting.
